Totozani, President of Association of Ombudsmen

Ombudsman Igli Totozani was elected President of the International Organization of Ombudsmen of Mediterranean People.

On June 27th, at the meeting of the General Assembly of this organization, Totozani was elected President.

During this meeting was elected the Administrative Council and the New Bureau. The French Ombudsman was elected as General Secretary of this organization.

The Association of Mediterranean Ombudsmen has 27 member countries, France, Spain, Greece, Morocco, Algeria, Israel, Slovenia, Macedonia, Cyprus, etc, and has been created in Marseille, in 2008.

This organization is one of the most powerful networks of ombudsmen in the world and has a great international role for protecting the human rights.
