In a meeting with the New Democratic Spirit supporters in Kukes, the
leader of this political party declared that the territorial reform
needs to be realized even if the opposition fails to participate.
Topi declared that the majority has the 84 votes and needs to act.
“This reform needs all parties. If this communication is found, because the word ‘consensus’ has value only if parties discuss and decide together… But if it is taken as a political pressure, I have said even before that consensus is taken by the people’s vote. When the Constitution says that a certain law needs 84 votes, if they have the 84 votes and the opposition doesn’t respond to invitations, I think that the majority should respond to the votes it has received”, Topi declared.
