Topi: Statues toppled, but not dictators

The New Democratic Spirit chose February 20th to publish the first
number of their newspaper, which has the same name. The leader of this
party, Bamir Topi, declared that Albania has toppled statues, but not
dictators. The former president of Albania, Bamir Topi, declared that
this weekly newspaper will be the battle for the truth.

“Some statues were toppled, but the spirit to dominate at any cost, with the same symptoms of the monism era, is still being seen today, even excessively. All you need to do is look at what happens in the Parliament. Everyone had hoped that with the passing of the years, the Parliament would have people who would at least show a good behavior, but it was the contrary. The vulgar behavior of streets has entered in Parliament. Those who are MPs are not to blame. The blame goes to those who, 20 years after the statue was toppled, built a modified Constitution to allow in Parliament those who would blindly serve to people who might feel they’re not dictators, but who in fact have the predispositions to be one. Being a dictator 23 years after the toppling of a statue, intuitively shows that statues were toppled, but not dictators”, Bamir Topi declared.
