The New Democratic Spirit leader, Bamir Topi, declared that he accepts
the results of these elections and appealed the next government to keep
its promises.
“Our country needs a good government and a serious and dedicated opposition. We have our reserves on the ‘de facto’ votes, but this was expected, since we didn’t have our commissioners in the voting centers”, Bamir Topi declared.
The New Democratic Spirit leader underlined that the citizens decided for political rotation and creation of a new majority, adding that the citizens’ decision can be commented, but not contested.
Topi thanked the 30.000 citizens that voted New Democratic Spirit, 10.000 of whom were in Tirana.
The New Democratic Spirit leader, Bamir Topi, expressed his concern about the fact that the Albanian right wing has been punished throughout the country due to a bad governing model and power abuses.
“Our critics were opposed, but our electorate proved them. On behalf of the New Democratic Spirit, I value Berisha’s resignation and I see it as a positive step, although it is not enough to reform the Albanian right forces”, Topi declared.
