Topalli visits Slovenia

The Albanian Parliament Speaker, Jozefina Topalli, which is having an
official visit in Slovenia, expressed to her homologue, Gregor Virant,
the gratitude of Albania for the support that Slovenia has given to our
country through the years.

Mrs. Topalli emphasized the strong engagement of the Slovenian government in removing the visa for the Albanians in the Schengen area.

The Slovenian Parliament Speaker reconfirmed to the Albanian homologue the support of Slovenia for a quick integration of Albania in the EU, expressing his optimism that our country will receive the EU candidate status within this year.

“We have seen Albania progress in its EU road and we value the necessity to realize all requests of the European Commission”, the Slovenian Parliament Speaker declared.

Topalli updated Virant with Albania’s progress on the integration reforms and for making everything possible for our country to deserve the candidate status and open a new perspective for the national objective, the EU integration.
