Topalli starts meeting with women

Today she visited Drenova, Korca, with the goal to promote the rights and their role in decision making, as a development factor for the society and the country. Accompanied by her daughter in this meeting, the Parliament Speaker promised that she will do everything possible for having 30% woman MPs in the next government cabinet.

“We need more women ministers, because they are less corruptible; because they deserve and because they work with great passion”, Topalli declared. She also encouraged women to get involved in businesses, since women in business is an important signal of the social and economic progress.

The Parliament Speaker visited the Fair of self-employed women, in which different companies led by women and housewives presented different food products, traditional dishes and fine artisan works.
