Jozefina Topalli, former Speaker of Parliament and noted member of the
right wing, said that Lulzim Basha is a catastrophe for the Democratic
Party as its leader.
She said that Basha is preparing a fake race within the DP, looking forward to steal another term as leader.
The former Vice Leader of the DP said that the party would be saved if he resigned, and that a fair race should be held.
Topalli said that with this rushed electoral process, against the statute, Basha is trying to hold the party hostage and avoid being held accountable for the electoral defeat.
“His efforts to glorify his fake personality kneeled DP down in these elections and gave Mr.Edi Rama a great help. Basha is trying to manipulate the process by violating the party statute. He is terrified by truth, that’s we want a honest race”, Topalli said.
