A filming crew of Top Channel’s investigative program, Fiks Fare, was
threatened by the National Guard and their equipments were seized during
the inauguration of the Elbasan-Tirana highway tunnel this Sunday.
Cameraman Eno Cucullar was not allowed to film a few minutes before the Prime Minister started his speech. The officers threatened him and took his tape in which he had filmed the meeting organized by the Democratic Party.
It appears that their concern was not the participation of the people in meetings, which Fiks Fare has been investigating for a long time, but the preparations of the Prime Minister before the speech. Fiks Fare will give detailed information in today’s episode about how they were threatened and how the tape was removed from the camera.
The National Guard’s order was unprecedented and violates the Constitutional right to information.
