Little while ago, the editor of the investigative show on Top Channel, ‘Top Story’ and some other elements, were terminated their employment because they were found in violation of the employment contract and in violation of the rules protecting the network’s reputation.
Top Channel legal team is preparing the file to forward to the authorities, on the legal responsibilities and the damage caused to the company by these individuals, who have exploited the show and their profession, as a means of issuing fines and threats, or misusing foreign donations.
Today these individuals or more precisely one of them, Endrit Habilaj, who has access to the show’s Facebook page, has released another slander in the direction of Top Channel. He claims that one of their shows was removed last night, when in fact was removed a material which, like in the last two or three weeks, was left to be broadcast in good faith and out of Top Channel editorial control.
But when the board reviewed the materials and noticed the serious ethical and professional violations, it was made the decision not to broadcast this blackmail material, put in the name of two people who once worked at Top Channel, and which was not in the interest of the truth.
The show is not closed. Top Story as a name was not born in 2018, but in October 2006 and for 11 seasons was the most successful political show on screen.
Next week Top Story will return where it belongs, in “prime time” at 21:00. The investigative show that bore this name for three years, will not close but will continue next week, with a new definition and a new direction. He will also have a new mission, that of truth, and not of extortion.
