The meeting of the Commission of Laws showed that the Parliament session
of this Thursday will be very tense. The Democratic Party demanded to
stop the normal law reviewing procedures until the government takes in
consideration the DP request for discharging the Parliament Speaker,
Ilir Meta.
“Such killers make us think that they could place explosives under our seats too. We cannot work normally when someone accused for murder walks around these corridors”, declared the Democratic Party MP, Arben Ristani.
The Democratic Party and SMI members of the Commission of Laws debated about the credibility of Doshi’s declarations. What happened was a warning for the testimony of the alleged witness, which the opposition considered as a lack of credibility in this process.
The Democratic Party members abandoned the Commission of Laws to prepare for the new Parliamentary battle of this Thursday. The 28 MPs have signed the request for the discharging of the Parliament Speaker, in order to start an impartial investigation.
