100.000 activists, volunteers, ecologists and not only are waiting for
November 22nd as the date when they will clean the most problematic
areas in Albania, encouraging this way even the Albanian people.
The cleaning will be made to places that are not very dangerous, and the process will be very simple. This initiative is not new. Estonia and Kosovo have made it even before with volunteers from their countries.
Young members of the society and volunteers of all age groups have established a digital map showing the most problematic wastes in Albania. This will be given to the central and local government, orienting them for where the work is needed more urgently.
Same as the action organized in Estonia in 2008, the country which has initiated this world movements, this action means the involvement of citizens, central and local authorities, private companies and cleaning firms, together with public figures and the media, so that the entire population can be mobilized.
The long-term objective is making citizens aware of being more responsible for their environment.
