The Transport Minister, Sokol Olldashi inspected the works for the
Tirana Big Ring Road, expressing his conviction that this road will be
ready for use after 12 months.
“This is one of most important projects, because it is connected with the Tirana-Elbasan axis”, Olldashi declared.
According to him, the expropriation problem now can be considered finished, since the government released a fund of 400 million ALL for the people whose houses were demolished.
Complaints for expropriation compensation
In the first segment where will pass the New Road Ring for Tirana, the Constrcution Inspectorate is continuing the action for the demolition of all constructions where this segment will transverse.
While the bulldozers will destroy a total of 45 objects, which have been constructed with all permissions, the owners say that they have not been compensated by the state and that their wealth of many years has been assessed with a very cheap price by the government.
The owners declared that the state compensation is very cheap, not close at all to the real market value of these objects.
The residents demanded the state to compensate them with the real value, and to leave more time to move from their houses and find another accommodation.
