On the first day of the opening of schools, the state police assured students’ parents that the police forces in schools would be increased to guide the pupils in respecting the anti-covid measures and also to guarantee public safety in the educational institutions.

But as a month has passed since the beginning of school, the police do not look here anymore and as you can see, crowds are formed or children can endanger their lives as they cross the road of messy cars.

“When school started, they were there, but these days we have not seen a policeman anymore. Here the road is very problematic from traffic. There should be at least one traffic policeman for the vehicles which are asource accidents”, says one parent. “It was only the first two days then they did not come anymore.”

“The police rarely come to my school. Cars pass by here quickly and it is dangerous.”

Although the police envisaged a ban on parking and movement of vehicles on certain road segments near schools, according to a
Top Channel’s observation of  this does not apply anymore. In roadside schools, heavy traffic is created as children leave the classroom at the same time, chaotically.
