Tirana Police acts against illegal taxi cabs

The Tirana Police asked taxi cabs whose license has expired to remove
the taxi symbols from their vehicles, or they will face sanctions. The
police measures come after an instruction of the Minister of Public
Works and Transportation.
“The traffic police notifies all drivers who own yellow vehicles and who have not paid the license, to change the characteristics of their vehicles and change the license plates”, police says.
Violators will be fined from 10.000 to 40.000 ALL, and their license will be revoked.
