The Police of Tirana said that 2016 marked 191 criminal acts more than 2015, 640 in total, with 293 people arrested.
Tirana Chief of Police, Ervin Hodaj, said they have avoided several domestic crimes, but this remains a big wound of the Albanian society.
As for other statistics, Albanian authorities have seized more drug than 2016, more police officers have been punished for violations.
Most of emergency calls were for illegal parking, car accidents, then there are reports for an ongoing crime, for corruption, illegal arm possession and robberies.
