Tirana municipality starts tender for building 4 new schools

The Municipality of Tirana has started a bid for the construction of four schools in the capital.
The limited fund for every school will be 14 million EUR, with an average cost of 3.5 million EUR for each school.
This is the first tender that foresees the construction of 17 new schools in the capital. The project foresees that private operators build the schoos with their capital within 18 months, including the furniture and labs.
The companies will also be responsible for the school maintenance for up to seven years, through money collected by the local education tax.
