Tirana Municipality frees sidewalks

The Tirana Municipality has undertaken an action to free public spaces
by individuals who place concrete blocks or chains to secure parking
areas illegally.
The action concentrated on the Sami Frasheri road, without touching the tables of bars which are staying on the sidewalk. They have a deadline to remove them until July 31st.
“Today we are continuing with a routine action. The territory of the Tirana Municipality is very large. This is our routine. After July 31st you will see a great change”, declared Bashkim Koci, an employee of the Municipal Police.
According to koci, no one will be allowed to violate the law after July 31st. Meanwhile, bars have placed tables and chairs on the sidewalks all over the capital, and vendors have returned too, even those with used clothes.
