The Tirana Municipality and its structures are constantly observing the
green market, for keeping the prices unchanged and for not allowing the
merchants to abuse with prices before the holidays.
“We can say that we have achieved good results until now, thanks to the awareness among the merchants and consumers, thanks to the frequent inspections, the cooperation of police structures with the consumers and merchants. The results will be seen this week,” declared the Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha.
The inspections have been focused on two green markets in Tirana, while merchants who sell these products in grocery shops around the city, or on sidewalk stands, do not label the prices of their goods. Basha promised that no one will be allowed to sell without placing the price tags.
