The Municipality of Tirana is collecting supplies for the Korca families, whose homes were damaged by the recent earthquake.
Inspecting the works at the Namazgja Mosque, Veliaj invited citizens to contribute with supplies for helping the Korca citizens.
The Mayor reminded how the Municipality’s attention on social projects has shifted in the past year: “If four years ago there was not a single social center, we have seven today, which offer not only warm food to the homeless, but also specialized care. We have also distributed several low-interest housing loans for families in need”, Veliaj said.
