After letting 51 inspectors from the tax department go, another wave of layoffs is expected at the Municipality Police.

The new head of the Municipal Police announced the employees of being under inspection for deliberate violations.

“We are inspecting any possible violation made by these inspectors, and we will continue this operation in legal ways. The violations will be verified after making a close supervision on terrain. If they have not performed the procedures, we will take measures against the inspectors”, declared Florenc Hoxha, director of the Municipality Police.

With the approach of September, it seems that this is only the beginning. All newly promoted directors apparently have been tasked to find all necessary motivations for restructuring the staff, which means that it will be changed.

The Municipality employees were expecting this for more than one month, after being notified.

Now made a tradition, each time there is a political rotation in the central and local administration, this unwritten rule seems that will not leave out even the administration of the Municipality of Tirana that has worked under the direction of Edi Rama. Their jobs will be given to the Democratic Party and Socialist Movement for Integration supporters who have contributed in their respective parties.

Sources from the Tirana Municipality say that the list with the new employees has been prepared much earlier, but they will be hired after performing what is called “analyzing the performance of old employees”.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Police and the Construction Inspectorate have undertaken another action for destroying the illegal constructions in Sauk, near the Sanatorium Hospital.

The head of the Municipal Police says that in total there are 200 illegal constructions throughout Tirana.
