The University of Medicine will have 40 more professors who have the Doctor title and have graduated with a high average.
The rector of this university, Jera Kruja, published the latest decision of the Council of Ministers and the criteria that need to be fulfilled.
“The personal must fulfill these criteria: excellent results, an average above nine in university studies and long-termed specialization studies in medicine for the Doctor title, for candidates that have studied in Albania. Good results with an average of 8 in university studies and long-term specialization in medicine for the Doctor title, for candidates that have held studies abroad; seven years of experience in the hospital university centers, after finishing with the specialization. The appointment at the main units and the basic units in the Tirana Medicine University is decided by the Academic Senate and the Economic Administration Council of the Medicine University”, Kruja declared.
The rector underlined that this decision came with a proposition made by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Myqerem Tafaj, referring to the need to increase the number of professors in this university.
