The women of the Tirana Municipality are the biggest contributors who help running the city.
For this reason, on March 8th, the International Women Day, Mayor Erion Veliaj thanked each of them not only by giving them flowers and personalized greeting cards but also by posting their pictures of some of them on Facebook.
The women on pictures are not only the ones running the city form the municipality’s office but also the ones on terrain, who help keeping the city safer and cleaner.
“Behind a good city there are many girls and women. There are 365 women at the Municipality of Tirana, helping run the city for 365 days. We are deeply grateful”, Veliaj said.
