The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, invited at the inauguration of the
“Luigj Gurakuqi” school for special needs, declared that the elections
will certainly be held this June.

“There will be elections, because we have what to tell people. Others don’t want elections, because they have nothing to offer. The party protesting inside the tent could have done all the things we are doing. It is very simple. There is an exam date and you should be prepared for it. If you’re absent, you don’t pass”, Veliaj said.

“Today they are protesting inside a tent. Yesterday, people with special needs were protesting on the same spot, because it had turned into a routine to not pay their pensions. We have returned dignity to the people with special needs”, Veliaj said.
