Tirana Mayor inspects works at Skenderbej square

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, inspected the works for the first phase of the Skenderbej square, which started this morning.
The works started with the central area around the National Musem of History, where workers removed the asphalt and the tiles.
The Mayor said that this project aimed to turn the Skenderbej square into a pedestrian green space.
Veliaj said that the square would represent all Albanian areas, with trees and paving stones brought by every angle of Albanian lands.
Veliaj said that the project protects every existing tree that will be replaced in the new square.
