The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has relieved from duty four administrators of Tirana’s Municipal Unit who were appointed by the Social Movement for Integration.
Veliaj has fired the administrators of Municipal Unit 2, 8, 11 and Berzhita.
Veliaj thanked the administrators for their 2-year-contribution in the municipality and said that the refusal came after the Socialist Movement for Integration refused to support the projects of the Tirana Municipality.
“Grateful to the 2 councilors of the opposition who voted in favor and put the city above the parties”, Veliaj declared.
