Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj visited the Hasan Tahsini school this Monday, on the first day of the new academic year.
Veliaj said 190 schools were opened today in Tirana, and soon the municipality will resolve the issue of teaching with double shifts, due to the high number of students and low number of schools.
Veliaj added that they will do everything possible for the infrastructure.
The Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla, was also present at the Hasan Tahsini school. She underlined that they will continue with the project to turn schools into community centers.
