Tirana Mayor dines with residents whose house was demolished for Ring Road construction

The Mayor of Tirana, erion Veliaj, met with Demir and Violaeta Isufaj and their nephew and nieces.

The family just moved to the social homes built by the municipality, after their illegal house was demolished for the construction of the Ring Road section.

“I met several friends from Tropoja and Kukes who used to see me as their enemy. Now we are friends. We need to help people find a solution and also build the road”, Veliaj said, adding that they can either accept the cash for paying rent for three months or a social home which they could keep forever.
