The Tirana Municipality say that the three first projects coming from
Harvard architects, Urban Development of Kombinat area; Tirana’s Central
Park and Restoration of Facades will very soon be a tangible product.
“Our commitment is to turn these beautiful dreams into real projects. The Tirana Municipality will offer the funds and the staff needed to realize the three of these projects at the same time: the Central Park at the New Boulevard, the interventions in Kombinat and the public art project with facades. This also goes with Tirana’s reputation as a city that provokes art with its colors. I am looking forward to budget these projects this year and start working next year”, said Erion Veliaj, Mayor of Tirana.
