The atmosphere of winter holidays is already present in Tirana, through decorations that were placed by the municipality in main areas of the capital.
The National Flag Day of November 28th is followed each year by November 29th, the “White Night”, when Tirana welcomes many visitors.
On Top Channel’s Pop Culture, Tirana’s Mayor, Erion Veliaj, said that not only it will be an unforgettable night of celebrations, but he reminds that Tirana also has another Mayor, “Night Mayor”, who encourages the nightlife in the city.
“Tomorrow we will have Emeli Sande performing here, and the concert is free, without costs for the citizens, just with sponsors. There will be visitors from Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Greece and even Serbia. This is good for the city because puts us on the map for this as well. After the night with Emily Sande I trust that all Tirana bars will be full for the White Night”, Veliaj said.
The Mayor gave an advice for alcohol lovers: “Let’s consume it with responsibility. If you have had more than you should, don’t drive. Use taxi cabs or go on foot. I trust that the night will be without incidents”, Veliaj said.
