Tirana invites artists to bring ideas for new building painting project

The Municipality of Tirana will soon start the project for painting the facades of the Albanian capital, which was first initiated in 2003-2004, when today’s Prime Minister Edi Rama was mayor of Albania’s capital.

The coloured buildings made the news in many foreign media outlets, which were portraying the positive change of Tirana.

The Tirana Municipality is now inviting all artists and art students to bring their ideas for the next painting of the city.

The deadline is February 28^th.
