The courage to build illegally, by fully violating the law, seems that
is not stopping in these first days of the electoral process.
Illegal constructions are being built everywhere in Tirana, day and night, without fearing anyone due to the non-official permits received through bribes and vote promises.
An illegal construction in the Tirana Ring Road is breaking any record, because the owner is also occupying the sidewalk by leaving the street name sign inside the construction.
This doesn’t justify the constructions made near the former “Shqiperia Sot” exhibition building, when workers are rushing during the night.
Another illegal construction is going on near the “21 Dhjetori” area, while residents say that they have notified the Construction Inspectors, but they don’t arrive, since many of them have been paid to not report the illegal constructions. The Tirana Municipality is not interfering, to not create discontent among the citizens, so that they won’t lose any voter for the June 23rd elections.
While the responsible structures are not interfering to keep the city’s territory unchanged, Top Channel has received dozens of reports coming from several Tirana areas. More than 20 constructions ar ebeing made right after the Tirana Ring road. Citizens say that many of them are being built by government officials, who are certain that the building will not be demolished and that it will enter the legalization process soon.
