From April 29th to April 30th, Tirana will be the house of Balkan jazz.
For the first time, jazz musicians from all Balkan countries (Montenegro, Greece, Kosovo, Croatia, Bulgaria and Serbia) will unite in the Albanian capital in “Balkan Jazz Showcase”.
Balkan Jazz showcase comes in its first edition, as the need for having something that goes beyond our borders. The background of Albanian musicians is now becoming part of the European and international scene. This is the first Balkan level jazz activity held in Tirana”, said Gent Rrushi, Artistic Director of Balkan Jazz Festival.
“We often met our Balkan brothers in international tours around the world, but never in Balkan. This was a great idea”, says Ermal Rodi.
Besides Balkan there will be guests from Israel and Italy as well.
