The warmer temperatures in the beginning of the summer season have
brought the concerns of Tirana center apartment residents, especially at
the “Block”, who are affected by acoustic pollution.
If the problem until a few weeks ago were the closed bars, without acoustic isolation, the summer bars are now causing problems with the acoustic pollution, with the residents being unable to sleep at night.
The noise of the music continues until the first hours of the morning, while the citizens feel unable to stop the problem, since the presence of the authorities seems absent.
Top Channel has learned that none of these bars has any environmental permission for continuing the activity after 24:00, while their owners do not seem preoccupied about the resident’s problems.
These bars have the legal obligation to respect the hour 24:00, which last summer was respected. On that hour, the residents were obliged to lower their volume or clos ehe activity. In this summer season, they have turned in a nightmare for the residents.
