Tirana City Council meets to discuss electric buses

The Municipal Council of Tirana is gathering today to decide on electric buses and the honouring of two of Albania’s biggest writers, Dritero Agolli and Ismail Kadare.

Today the Council may give the green light for the first line of electric buses, making Tirana one of the few cities that have embraced green transportation.

The transportation line will be offered to the company that will bring electric buses to Tirana, as Mayor Veliaj vows to facilitate and prioritize any green project for the city.

The municipality is discussing with the families of writers Dritero Agolli and Ismail Kadare to turn their homes into museums.
