Tirana City Budget, Mayor Veliaj: “The most ambitious ever”

The Municipal Council of Tirana gathered this Wednesday to discuss the
budget of 2016. Mayor Erion Veliaj considered it as the most ambitious
in the history of the capital.
“This is the most ambitious budget, because it brings a novelty in the finance management. There is a 120 million USD budget, 39% of which will be used for public investments”, Veliaj said.
“In only a few months we made a change. We will make more, because our ambition is bigger. Tirana is more of a city today, and the municipality is more of a municipality”, Veliaj said.
