Tirana celebrates Summer Day, Mayor Veliaj: “We will keep working to change our city”

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, joined the celebration for the Summer Day, which he started by planting several trees in Tirana’s suburbs.
“This was a day full of activities. Everyone had foreseen rains, but God helped us and we had a great day. We started it by planting several trees at the Tirana Artificial Lake, and we are now watching the activities on the Skanderbeg Square. I want to congratulate the aeronautics for the show, and wish everyone a happy season. The new Spring may be the moment to reflect and understand that when we get together, we can do wonders”, Veliaj said.
The Mayor underlined that despite debates, the work for building Tirana will go on. He said that many new projects are about to start with the Pyramid, the New Theater and the remaining part of the New Boulevard.
