Tirana Aqueduct inspecting car-was businesses

The Tirana Aqueduct Directory, in cooperation with the Municipality of
Tirana, has started a joint action for controlling the car-wash
businesses in the entire territory of the Albanian Capital.
The abuse with drinking water and their documentation are the main targets of this action, which started this Tuesday.
Present during the inspections were the Tirana Aqueduct director, Sahit Dollapi, and the Municipality Chief of Police, Florenc Hoxha. Dollapi explains for the media the goal of this action:
“Today we are making a full inspection, in order to see if they can use the water and if they have proper documentation. This action will continue until all illegal car-wash businesses will close, leaving only the regular ones. We are not in favor of an iron-hand action, because we don’t want to close businesses that are in service of the community, but they must operate in full accordance with the laws”.
In the entire Tirana territory there are 155 car-wash businesses. The operation has went well and the owners have not opposed the inspection.
