“Throw themselves from the balcony by the noise of the oxygenation system”, Rama: Beware of fake news, we have financially booked the anti-Covid vaccine

During his speech in the Assembly, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that today that the Albanian government has paid the deposit for the Covax vaccine by entering the network of countries that have financially booked access to the vaccine, expected to be released for mass use in the coming months.

“We are in daily communication with the EU, to guarantee clarity and security for access to vaccination of the population, given that the vaccine will be released, but the quantities will not be immediately to cover the entire population of Europe or even of any country; all countries have a strategy, we have the same strategy to start with the most vulnerable categories and then to extend it to all strata of the population”, Rama stated.

Rama further focused on what he described as absurdities, fabrications and false news regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. “It is very important that everyone receives as much fact-based information as possible, as much information as possible from our health authorities. The fact that our system is lacking in medicine is not true. To the point of absurdities of the type that people throw from the hospital balconies as the oxygenation system makes unbearable noise. Today they had written again that there is a noise equal to the noise of aircrafts taking off. It is the same noise all over the world, we do not have different appliances from others, we have modern appliances. These create anxiety, insecurity, as propaganda propagates a distorted idea that only here in Albania we have suicides between those affected by Covid.

“There have been suicides in hospitals in other countries as well, and in no other country the opposition have thrown up to bill the government. We have nothing lacking in relation to others. They say that the government ministers goes to Turkey for treatment, we do not stop anyone but no government member have gone to Turkey; some of our ministers have gone through it and are going through it, no one has gone to Turkey. We do not go to Turkey for a simple reason, because with this disease there is no appliances outside Albania that we don’t have in Albania.”
