After the Courts of Appeal, verifications of the vetting process have descended to the first instance and to the Court of the capital, where the biggest number of lawsuits are deposited.
In the list of problematic judges is also Flamur Kapllani, denounced twice only in 2020, with both files under investigation for abuse of office in the Durrës prosecutor’s office.
The case is that of a report against him after with an unfounded decision he transferred shares without taking into account the arbitration tribunal.
Flamur Kapllani is on the list of suspicious judges, while during his time as a member of the HCJ, various civil society organizations listed him among judges with largest unjustified assets.
But in addition to assets, the other two criteria being checked on the judge are the fact that he graduated ‘part time’ as a lawyer and the KPC investigation is expected to shed light on his connections that catapulted him to direction of HCJ.
