“Three Worlds” wins at Prifest

“Three Worlds” won the Best Movie Award at the Prifest Festival. A
French production directed by Catherine Corsini, with actor Arta
Dobroshi, who won the “Golden Goddess” Award as the best actor of
Prifest.

But the prizes don’t end here for this movie, which received the “Media Award” by a jury led by Arbana Osmani. The award was sponsored by the Media Foundation “Dritan Hoxha”, and was handed over by the Top Media President, Mrs. Vjollca Hoxha.

“I thank the festival director and all Kosovo Albanains for continuing to support us and our media”, Vjollca Hoxha declared.

Present in Prifest was also the director of the “Dritan Hoxha” Foundation, Vjollca Dako.

The public voted Agnus Day, a film from the Kosovo director Agim Sopi. “The Golden Goddess” for the second feature film was given to the Dutch movie “Vast”. The Algerian Asli Nabil won the Best Actor Award. The Best Direction Award went to the Turkish-Austrian director, Umut Dag, and the Hungarian Bence Feugaut.

A special recognition was given to the Slovakian “Duma” film, while Serbia wan the Balkan Film award for “Parade”.

Vjosa Berisha, director of Prifest, declared that teh festival is important for promoting the respective states, because we have different personalities in this festival and it is important for the Kosovo audience to have films that don’t come from the usual sources.

The slogan of this festival is “Forever Friendship”, and the closure was held with friendly tones between the staff and the guests.
