Three terrorists were arrested by the Turkish Police for killing
two police officers and one civilian near the Nigde area two days ago.
The Turkish media declared that this was a terrorist attack. These three persons were speaking Arabic, and are members of the “Islamic State of Iraq and Levant”, a group that has direct connections with the Al Qaeda. The media say that two of these people were arrested in a clinic where they were taking first aid, after being injured during a firefight with the Turkish police.
Sources at the Interior Ministry of Albania confirmed for Top Channel that the three people have no citizenship from the Albanian republic. Two come from Kosovo and one from Macedonia.
The local media have not given their identities, but say that two of them are 18 years old, while the third one is 23. The Turkish media say that the terrorists entered Turkey from Syria, but they give nothing about their motives.
The local police has seized seven bombs, three AK-47, three handguns and two army knives. It is still unclear what their purpose was. Details will be given after the investigations will be over.
