Three road construction employees die

Two workers and an engineer of the firm that was building the
Gramsh-Kodovjat-Moglica road have died this Tuesday after a rock was
detached and fell over them.
The three victims were specialized for identifying unstable rocks that could risk the workers’ lives during the construction. Unfortunately, the detachment of the rock has caused the serious accident.
The workers are Sokol Elmazi, 35, and Oltion Kola, 21, both from Kavaja, while the engineer is an Italian citizen who was sent to the Korca hospital in severe conditions, where he passed away.
The police is investigating with the technical leaders fo the company, and are verifying the respecting of work safety procedures.
