Shkoder Police officers, in cooperation with the Puka Police precinct, have neutralized another case of illegal deforestation.
Police have arrested four persons, three of whom are specialists at the Puka police.
The suspect who were arrested are Gjin Filipi, Astrit Hyseni and Enver Laci, respecivetly Chief and Specialists a the Forest Sector of the Kukes Municipalit, and businessman Frrok Gjoka.
Investigations showed that these citizens have abused with their power by authorizing the cutting of 3000 square meters of forests in Krrab-Bushat for the company administered by Frrok Gjoka.
The tree officials are charged with power abuse, and businessman Gjoka with illegal deforestation.
