Three doctors and a nurse of the Koco Gliozheni maternity are under investigation by the police for negligent medical treatment.
The doctors were unable to determine the medical conditions of Aida Cajku, 35, pregnant at her ninth month. She was sent by these doctors to the Cardiology, then to the Sanatorium, where doctors found she had hemorrhage around her spleen, and sent her back to the maternity.
Only then the doctors started an extended consultation, but the woman and her baby passed away. The brother of the late woman, Fatjon Omuri, has filed a lawsuit at the police.
The doctors under investigation are Elido Klosi, Dritan Decka and Nazmie Ceni, together with a nurse.
