On the third day of the national strike against the reform of the country’s courts map, there is still no hope for reflection from the parties.
Lawyers continue to boycott lawsuits in protest of the significant reduction in the number of courts in the country, but the High Judicial Council does not appear to be considering their demands.
Judges indicate that they open and close hearings without any result by notifying citizens that trials cannot be opened as there is no defense.
“We have nothing to do, we open and close the process without any development,” says one of the judges.
Friday is the last day of the strike as the National Chamber of Advocates has announced that it will escalate the movement, but has not given more details.
