During an operation codenamed “Poker”, the Police arrested Maltin Lazaj,
Haxhi Cani, Valter Lico, Ali Nelaj and Xhoni Karaj, from 24 to 46 years
of age.
Their arrest was made after a three month surveillance, in which these citizens were seen producing, possessing and selling narcotic substances.
The investigations revealed the involvement of two other citizens. The narcotic substance came from the Vlore mountainous area and was kept in a van that was seen in Tirana, where the owners lived.
Police declared that they are also investigating the assets of the suspects, based on the anti-mafia law.
