Albania will demand the opening of the negotiations with the EU in the
next year, an objective the Prime Minister announced in the meeting of
the SP National Assembly.
The big test for the EU will be the judiciary reform this Autumn.
“We have started a big battle without compromise or tolerance in a mined terrain of corruption at the judiciary system. Also, achieving the objective to start the accession negotiations next year”, Rama declared.
Rama said that Albania will fulfill its duties about the negotiations, although, he said, it will depend on the appetite of the EU.
The Albanian Prime Minister listed the achievements of his government in the past two years and said that not everything went as planned.
Rama said that the evaluation of their job will be done after two years, when the SP will run for a second term in the central elections of 2017.
The purpose, according to Rama, is to have a victory as “spectacular” as that of 2013 and 2015.
