The Minister of Defence, Olta Xhocka, declared in a joint press release with Ambassador Igli Soreca and Mr.Glerum to speak about the earthquake situation.
“We are grateful to the civilian protection mechanism of Europe”, Chacka said.
“Earthquakes and then floods. It was a difficult week for Albania. I congratulate the support and generosity that Europe gave for Albania. Eight member countries have offered aid after the earthquake. This situation proved the necessity of establishing an institution of emergencies. I am very proud that the EU is supporting Albania”, Soreca declared.
Peter Glerum: “We are here to assist. Our assistance is for helping make life easier for citizens after the earthquake. We are in a phase of reconstruction, and our challenge is to get normalized”.
