One of the things that attracted attention during the Press Conference of Skenderbeu in Belgrade, was the perfect Albanian of the translator working with the Albanian coach.
His name is Filip and he is one of the few Serbs who insisted to study our language.
“I heard a song on Youtube and I liked the language. Then I kept listening to other songs and I discovered that Albanian language was beautiful. By chanced I noted there was a Language Albanian branch in Belgrade and I decided to sign up. I have studied Albanian in Belgrade and then I signed up for master degree in Tirana. I graduated in Tirana for master. At first it was strange, because everyone was asking me why I chose Albanian, and then I got used with the question”, says Filip Vukodinovic.
The official Skenderbeu translator was born in Sarajevo and was forced to leave it because of the war. The past three years he has been to Tirana. It was hard for him to chose the team he would be rooting for during the Partizan-Skenderbeu match.
