Besides the “provocation” train, there is another one going from Serbia to Kosovo, in Northern Mitrovica.
Its travelers have been using it for years, going to their jobs or to their families. Students also frequent it very often, and no one has had problems so far.
Despite the problems with the other provocation train, travelers say they are still using this line to Belgrade, which is acceptable for everyone.
“Sometimes they check our documents, which is normal. I don’t know about the recent events. They seem more political, than practical”, passengers say.
After a new train, filled with nationalistic slogans, was stopped by Kosovo authorities from entering its territory, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic gave harsh war-related comments and even complained to the US Embassy for the Obama administration.
In the meanwhile, more military personnel has been noted in the border. Top Channel asked the Ministry of Defense for this, but there was no comment.
